oh my goth, these are so cool and dark and i love love love old dysfuntional electric stuff. i've done drawings of old electric leads, lamps etc, but it looks so much better (and darker) as rubber sculptures.

kittiwat unarrom body bakery

inside a dark room, realistic-looking "human body parts" are stacked on shelves and hanging on meat hooks. the place looks like a mortuary or the lair of a serial killer, but in fact, it's a bakery. what appears to be putrefying body parts are the bread sculptures of 28-year-old art student kittiwat unarrom.

kittiwatt unarrom is a thai artist who started his career painting portraits. he then moved on to sculpting in mixed media, and finally, being the son of a baker, he started sculpting the human body in bread. the bread is made of dough, raisins, cashews and chocolate. sounds well tasty to me, but according to unarrom, "when people see the bread, they don't want to eat it."

i used to think i'd be capable of eating human meat. then i had this dream where i was bragging about just that to a group of people around a table, and was interrupted by the waiter who brought me a plate with a boiled foot, and told me to eat it. it wasn't as easy as i thought. i guess i put my foot in my mouth. well, not mine actually, i don't know whose it was.
